I am proud to say I am a first-year Medical Student at St. George's University School of Medicine, and a Master of Public Health Community Health Sciences Graduate Candidate at Tulane University School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine!

This journey has been full of so many turns, but delayed truly does not mean denied. I believed in myself, and no matter the road ahead, it was vital to stay focused and pivot when necessary.

I am grateful to you all for your prayers, kind words, and for being with me on this journey of becoming Dr. Williams.

Just know there will be many medical school blogs, vlogs, and sit-downs as I share my journey in hopes of encouraging many others to pursue their dreams! Let's get these degrees!!!

I am grateful to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for carrying me when I couldn't carry myself. To remind me that greater is he that is within me, on the days I felt I was too weak to carry on. Lastly, for loving me throughout this journey, and sending me people to encourage me and love me, even when I couldn't love myself. I truly am humbled by his love and the desire to continue on this journey when every day felt like a battle. Is finally my time, and I will do the very best to make sure this is the chance of a lifetime.
